Mr. Wraalstad was born October 25, 1955, in Mercer, Wisconsin and married Sally Eggleson September 17, 1983. The couple raised two children, Erik and Kirsten.
As a young man, in the Navy, Bruce worked on ship-stationed aircraft, for which he received commendation.

His interest in aircraft mechanics continued after his discharge, when he earned an A & P (Airframe and Powerplant) license at Blackhawk Tech in Janesville, Wi. It became a 34 year career, retiring from Cessna/Textron in Kansas.

While in Kansas, he became a member of American Legion Post 256 and the “40/8” club, both in Wichita.

Following his “first” retirement, he returned home to Mercer and purchased “Horns Cabins” including the restoration and remodeling of his and Sally’s home. He also became a member of the Mercer Loons Motorcycle Club, enjoying many trips with the group.

Bruce was well known for always lending a hand to anyone in need and everyone who knew him said he was one “helluva nice guy”. An example of his kindness was completing an exact scaled replica of a local, well-known vintage home which took hours and hours in between all the demands of his life. It was completed shortly before his death on May 22, 2024.
