Deceased March 29, 2005, Interred West Street Cemetery, Lowell, IN.

He was a WW II wounded veteran and a lifelong member of the American Legion Post #101 in Lowell, IN, the VFW,  DAV, and the Purple Heart Association. He retired from farming in Indiana and moved to Winchester, WI in 1980.  He is remembered as a kind and hardworking man.
