I was then sent to VAW-126, an E-2C Hawkeye squadron. The mission of VAW-126 was to gather information through the use of radar and relay it to the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy, CV-67. There I served as a flight deck troubleshooter on the E-2C Hawkeye.
