Michael (Mike) D. Loomis, a Vietnam Veteran, was born on December 16, 1946 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Michael was united in marriage to the former Karen Klingenmeyer. Mike and Karen have 3 children, Heidi (Loomis) Giese, Lori (Loomis) Rowe and Brian Loomis. They are also blessed with 7 Grandchildren. Michael was inducted into the United States Air Force on September 28, 1966 and honorably discharged on August 31, 1970. Michael served his country as a Medical Service Specialist. Most of Michael’s duty time was with the 343rd USAF Dispensary (Air Defense Command) located at the Duluth International Airport Air Force Base in Duluth, Minnesota. Michael is a member of the American Legion Post 480 in Presque Isle, Wisconsin.
