Lt. Reid served overseas from May 12, 1945, to May 12, 1946 with the 345th Bomb Group (the legendary Flying Apache’s) as a pilot of a B-25. He flew a total of 497 hours. In September 1945 he was transferred to the 38th Bomb Group remaining with this unit until ordered to the United States.
Mr. Reid passed away on March 20, 1995 and is interred in Remer, Minnesota.
