Member of Mercer American Legion, Post 159

George attended Round Lake, Illinois High School, and later joined the US Army. He moved to Mercer, WI in the 1970’s and later started the 3rd generation of George Rozhon Roofing and co-founded the Mercer Loons Motorcycle Club.

Known far and wide as Papa Loon, he is remembered for his sense of humor, his bear paw hands, his motorcycle with the flags, his red bandanna, and his admirable work ethic.

Born in Chicago, IL on July 20th, 1947. Deceased May 7, 2018. Interred in Mercer, Wisconsin.
