Mr. Schultz was born April 3, 1927 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and married Carol Lange on October 1, 1949 in Oconomowoc, WI. They had 7 children together. He was a carpenter by trade for 20 years in the Milwaukee area.

In 1969, he co-founded and incorporated the 3600 acre property of Natural Lakes Private Preserve, north of Boulder Junction in Presque Isle Township. He also began his building contract business called Natural Lakes Builders. He contracted and built quality dwellings in Natural Lakes and the surrounding area.

Bill passed away peacefully on September 26, 2009. He was preceded in death by his son Richard (Dick). He is interred at Cemetery of the Pines in Boulder Junction.
