Member of the Winegar American Legion Post 480 for 64 years and Member of VFW for 61 years. Born June 20, 1931, died August 31, 2021.  Survived by three sons, Bill Jr., Bryan and Brad. Renowned snowmobile advocate in Illinois and Wisconsin including IASC Hall of Fame. and many other notable honors bestowed because of his devotion to  snowmobiling both in the modern era and earlier when he became involved with antique snowmobiles.
