Chuz Wilson was the son of Lewis and Louise Wilson, Rock Island, Illinois. He attended Lawrence College in Appleton, WI, graduating in 1958 from Augustana College, Rock Island, IL. He served our country as a Marine Aviator during the Korean War. Following his discharge he worked in the banking industry, becoming Chairman of the First National Bank of the Quad Cities and serving as chairman of the Association of Modern Banking in Illinois and when it merged with the Illinois Bankers Association he served as its president. For 16 years he served on the Board of Directors of Augustana College. He loved many sports including tennis, golf, skiing, sailing, biking and football.

Chuz and his wife, Kath have three children, Katy, Charlie and Clinton; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
