Mr. VanVeghel was born in Milwaukee and after his service in the US Army, he work in plant protection at Allis Chalmers. He and his wife Sherry retired to Presque Isle “God’s Country”. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and handyman. He died on September 27, 2023 at the age of 91 and has been interred at Evergreen Cemetery, Presque Isle, WI. Bill served as Commander of the American Legion Post 480 in Presque Isle, WI.

Brother of George, Donald, Jerome, John J. Van Veghel. Father of John S. Van Veghel and Uncle of Robert Van Veghel.
